Sierra Donor Services - New Mexico (SDS) seeks a Surgical Technologist/Surgical Recovery Coordinator in Albuquerque. The role supports surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs, coordinating organ allocation and transport with transplant surgeons and coordinators.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years OR experience or recent surgical tech graduates, with ISOP Level 1 certification by year one and basic data entry/computer skills.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a related Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of OR experience or recent surgical technician graduate required.
• Health-related certification and ISOP Level 1 by end of year 1 preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and MS Office; basic data entry skills.

Mansioni

• Coordinates and assists in surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs and specimens with surgeons/organ recovery coordinators.
• Assumes primary responsibility for renal preservation processes, including pumping and transport.
• Performs extensive on-call duties to support donor recovery activities.
• Coordinates organ allocation, kidney and liver placement, distribution, and transport.
• Coordinates fly outs and fly backs.
