DCI Donor Services, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Surgical Recovery Coordinator - CST - Surgical Technologist to join our team.

The role involves coordinating renal preservation, donor recovery activities, and collaboration with transplant surgeons to ensure safe and effective organ recovery. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), 1–2 years OPO or healthcare experience, and computer skills with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years OPO or healthcare experience required; operating room experience preferred.
• Health-related certification and ISOP Level 1 by completion of the first year.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications; basic data entry skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assumes primary responsibility for the renal preservation process including pumping and pump transport.
• Performs extensive on-call responsibilities to assist with donor recovery activities.
• Coordinates and assists in the surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs with transplant surgeons and/or organ recovery coordinators.
• Coordinates fly outs and fly backs.
• Coordinates organ allocation, including kidney and liver placement, distribution, and transportation of organs for transplantation and/or research.
