Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required).
• ARRT Certification (required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• One year of experience in a surgical setting (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Aseptic Technique.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams and procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for patients and staff.
• Operate, maintain, and position x-ray equipment and patients for optimal imaging.
• Process radiographic images using digital or film methods.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
• Support the surgical team with patient positioning and room turnover.
• Cross-train and assist as an Instrument Technician when needed.
• Foster a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with center protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives for better patient outcomes.
