Qualifications

• Associate's or certification from an accredited School of Radiology.
• Radiography (R) - ARRT within 60 Days

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and adjusts equipment for procedures; positions patients for imaging.
• Uses ALARA to determine exposure, protects body with lead shielding.
• Operates c-arm equipment to provide quality images for surgeons.
• Coordinates surgery schedules to ensure radiology support is ready.
• Performs clerical duties and handles in-house PACS and teleradiology tasks.
• Takes x-ray images with portable equipment across hospital areas.
• Maintains sterile technique and completes procedures promptly.
• Mentors students and supports education within the Radiologic Technology program.
• Produces high quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
