Job summary

Gillette Children’s Lead Radiologic Technologist (Surgery-.8 FTE) leads the Imaging department with a focus on OR imaging, coordinating daily activities and guiding staff to ensure high-quality care. The role requires extensive OR experience and demonstrated leadership or leadership potential, adapting to fast-paced environments while maintaining professional standards.

The position is full-time, on-site at the St. Paul campus, with rotating call evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT and CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school or equivalent certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in imaging, management, or healthcare discipline.
• Active involvement in professional associations and experience with pediatric/disabled populations may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Finds, effectively uses, and provides information; readily adjusts to shifting priorities and work assignments.
• Maintains timely and efficient imaging services, coordinating staff to match patient flow.
• Provides support and serves as a technical resource regarding imaging exam details, image quality, and equipment.
• Ensures accurate documentation of patient care and holds staff accountable for timely records.
