Gillette Children’s Lead Radiologic Technologist (Surgery-.8 FTE) leads the Imaging department with a focus on OR imaging, coordinating daily activities and guiding staff to ensure high-quality care. This position provides leadership within the Imaging department to support consistent, high-quality standards of care and positive patient outcomes, with a primary focus on supporting imaging needs within the Operating Room (OR). The ideal candidate will bring extensive OR experience along with demonstrated leadership experience or strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively guide and support others.
This role requires someone who is flexible, adaptable, and able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced and changing environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in high-stress situations, making adjustments and decisions in the moment, and remaining self-motivated and productive during periods of downtime.
In addition to providing direct patient care, this position will help coordinate daily activities, support and lead team members, and role model professional practice and exceptional customer service. The individual will build and maintain strong working relationships with Imaging leadership and staff, OR team members, providers, and other ancillary departments.
While the primary focus of the position will be supporting OR imaging needs, this individual will also serve as a flexible resource to the broader Imaging department, stepping in to support other imaging staff and leaders as operational needs arise.
Schedule: This position is full-time 0.8 position, 8-hour shifts Monday - Thursday within the hours of 6:45 am and 7:15 pm with rotating call evenings, weekends and holidays.
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $31.36/hour to $45.44/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Sign-on Bonus: This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. The bonus amount will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
