Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking an Imaging Lead to coordinate daily imaging department operations, oversee staff, and ensure high-quality, efficient imaging services in collaboration with the Imaging Director.

This role requires ARRT, state license as applicable, and BCLS; 3–5 years’ diagnostic imaging experience with leadership preference; proficient in PACS, RIS, and EHR; strong communication and regulatory compliance abilities.

Qualifications

• ARRT required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state
• BCLS required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily imaging department operations and staffing to ensure efficient patient care.
• Serves as a technical resource on protocols, equipment use, and real-time troubleshooting.
• Monitors PACS, RIS and EHR access and records for accuracy and issue resolution.
• Supports onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and staff development feedback.
• Assists with scheduling, timecards, and adherence to attendance policies.
• Collaborates with Imaging Director to monitor productivity, quality metrics and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinates regulatory compliance, inspections, state reviews, and physics testing.
