Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Surgical Prep and Recovery, located at the Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. This full-time role requires four 9-hour shifts weekly, 0600-1600, with no weekends or holidays.

You will support clinical staff, provide nursing care under supervision, document services, and assist in patient care activities. The position offers growth in a faith-based health system in Idaho.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification issued by the State of Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• BLS for Healthcare providers certification at hire in all units.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of caring for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric).

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Perform nursing care services and related non-professional services under the supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Ensure accurate documentation of services and supplies for revenue management.
• Assist Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in patient care activities.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to deliver high-quality service.
• May act as Unit Clerk, including managing patient records and orders.
• May be trained as cardiac monitoring technician as needed.
