Rosaires Care is seeking a Registered Nurse – Surgical/5 West to provide evidence-based post-operative nursing care for surgical patients. The role involves monitoring status, assessing needs, and administering prescribed medications as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The nurse will coordinate with physicians, educate patients and families, and support safe discharge planning while upholding infection prevention and safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with post-operative care experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration with care team.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.

Responsabilités

• Deliver post-operative nursing care based on evidence and protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition; escalate concerns as needed.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions per standards.
• Coordinate care plans with physicians and care team.
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and patient safety.
