Key Duties

• Deliver post-operative care based on clinical evidence and established protocols
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and overall patient condition; elevate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions in line with standards of care
• Coordinate and communicate care plans with physicians and members of the care team
• Educate patients and families on care needs and recovery expectations
• Support safe discharge planning and continuity of care
• Maintain infection prevention practices and uphold patient safety standards
• Precept as needed and participate in quality and process-improvement initiatives
