Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. The PA will assist the surgeon during procedures, including closing incisions, and support spine surgery cases with a focus on patient care and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited PA program, holds a DEA for OH, and brings 3–5 years of work experience with strong English communication and multitasking abilities. BLS/CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician assistant program and non-restricted DEA for the state of OH.
• 3-5 years' work experience; spine surgery experience preferable.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write legibly, speak English professionally.
• Able to communicate effectively in English in person and on the phone; work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during surgery, including the closing of the incision.
• Support spine surgery procedures as part of the team.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional and personable patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
