• PA-C credential with valid state licensure.
• Ability to work independently in a neurosurgery setting.
• Experience in inpatient management and surgical first assist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage neurosurgical conditions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Surgical first assist on spine procedures.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient charts.
• Daily hospital rounds and weekend rounding as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.

Spine & Brain Neurosurgery Center is seeking a qualified, compassionate, and experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, providing high-quality, patient-centered care. This role combines working in a clinic setting with inpatient management as well as surgical first assist.

While shared "on call" coverage is required, we do not participate with any hospital trauma centers/call.

Conduct patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.

Diagnose and manage medical conditions within the scope of the neurosurgical practice.

Develop and implement treatment plans.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.

Prescribe medications as authorized by applicable state law.

Provide patient education, preventive care, and follow-up management.

Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

Daily rounding on hospital patients and some weekend rounding as needed.

Surgical First Assist on spine procedures.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care and satisfaction.
