Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse, assists in selected tasks and information gathering to support patient assessment, planning and evaluation.
• Obtains and records vital signs as delegated by the RN.
• Under the supervision, performs technical duties and treatments contributing to safe, efficient patient care.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to address patient/family needs and supports a patient-centered care approach.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, and staff; covers the Business Associate desk in the absence of BA.
