Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; CNA or equivalent such as Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Tech or student nurse with clinical experience.
• Two years of direct patient care experience or equivalent education as specified.
• CPR certification required and demonstrated ability to communicate with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, obtain and report information to assist nurse in assessment and planning.
• Obtain and record vital signs as delegated by the RN.
• Assist in technical duties and treatments contributing to safe patient care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address patient/family needs and communicate with patients, families, and staff.
