Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (Surgical Intermediate) to join our team onsite in Boston, MA. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new employees hired into PCA positions.

Qualifications

• Certification as CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience required.
• Nursing student who has completed fundamentals with a clinical component; BSN or direct-entry Masters preferred.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred.
• Prior clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• May not currently hold a valid nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Support the RN with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
• Respond to the needs of patients and families and take a proactive role in unit operations.
