Job description

The Pathology Department at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida, has a full-time opening for an AP / CP boarded Surgical Pathologist with a sub-specialty in Gastrointestinal Pathology. Additional expertise in Gynecologic and/or Genitourinary Pathology is desired.

This individual will join seven other sub-specialist pathologists in Weston. Primary responsibilities include sub-specialty sign-out, with potential opportunities for administrative or leadership roles depending on the applicant’s experience and interests.

The candidate should possess an MD, DO, or MBBS with board certification (or eligibility) from the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology, and meet all licensure requirements for practicing medicine in Florida. Subspecialty training in GI, Gyn, or GU pathology is preferred. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collegial team involved in clinical care, research, education, and strategic growth at Cleveland Clinic Florida’s pathology and hospital specialties center. Candidates should have at least 3 years of post-fellowship experience; current fellows are encouraged to apply. Skills in general surgical pathology are also desirable.
