Job description

The Department of Pathology at the University of Toledo Health is seeking a full-time, tenure track, academic renal/surgical pathologist. Utoledo Health is a tertiary care center that supports the University of Toledo College of Medicine & Life Sciences programs for medical students, graduate students, and residents in a wide variety of programs. The Department of Pathology has training programs for AP/CP residents, for pathologists' assistants, and for laboratory technicians. The successful candidate will share primary clinical responsibilities at Utoledo Health with eight other anatomic/clinical pathologists. Teaching of residents and medical students is a critical part of this position, and the successful applicant must have exemplary teaching skills. Excellent opportunities are available for independent or collaborative research, and the candidate is expected to develop a strong publication resume. Education/experience/licensing:

M.D. or equivalent degree

Must be Board certified

Must be eligible for licensure in Ohio
