Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Certified Nurse Assistant program.
• Current CA certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS certificate.
• Six months related patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately obtains vital signs and weights and reports to the nurse.
• Administers simple treatments and/or tests according to policy.
• Provides post procedure care to patients.
• Initiates patient care per the nursing plan.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Maintains aseptic technique in care at all times.
• Notifies the nurse of changes in patient condition.
• Keeps clinical areas neat and clean.
• Maintains a professional image.
