WakeMed is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join WakeMed Physician Practices. The role works under the supervision of the Medical Director and APP Manager to deliver competent medical care to patients at WakeMed, with responsibilities spanning inpatient and outpatient settings depending on service needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with valid licensure.
• DEA required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical care under supervision of Medical Director, physicians, and APP Manager.
• Deliver inpatient and/or outpatient care as service needs dictate.
• Complete referrals, consults, daily rounds, notes, discharge summaries, procedures, and follow-ups.
