Job summary

Danbury Hospital, now part of Northwell Health, seeks a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join the Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury, CT. The role covers pre/post-operative care across specialties such as Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgical/Spine, Plastics, and ENT, with evolving 24/7 coverage and OR assist.

Ideal candidates are board-certified PAs with surgical experience or residency training; new grads may be considered.

Qualifications

• Board certified physician assistant with surgical and/or patient management experience.
• New graduates will be considered.
• Experience with Da Vinci robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and perioperative care in multiple specialties.
• Assist in operating room and pre/post-operative care.
• Rotate through days, weekends, holidays with minimal overnight coverage.
