Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join our Danbury, CT team. The role covers pre- and post-operative care, in-OR assistance, and patient management across several surgical specialties.

A rotating schedule includes days, weekends, holidays, and some overnights. Ideal candidates are board-certified PAs with surgical experience or residency training, and/or DaVinci robotics training; new graduates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified PA with surgical or patient-management experience preferred.
• New graduates may be considered with relevant training.
• DaVinci robotics training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Assist in the operating room and support OR teams.
• Conduct consults and participate in patient management for diverse surgical specialties.
• Follow a rotating schedule including days, weekends, holidays, and some overnight coverage.
• Support services across Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgical/Spine, Plastics, and ENT.
