Children's of Alabama is seeking an Operating Room Technician II (Scrub Technician) to support surgical teams on the Main Campus. You will prepare, maintain and anticipate instrument, equipment, and supply needs for all procedures, helping ensure safe, efficient operations.

Your role focuses on supporting the surgeon and team, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring equipment functions properly. A strong understanding of the procedure and timely anticipation of needs is essential.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved Operating Room Technician Program or 2 years OR Technician experience.
• Current BLS certification required; CST preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare, maintain and anticipate instrument, equipment and supply needs for all surgical procedures.
• Facilitate safe and effective conduct of procedures and maintain patient safety in the operating room.
• Ensure the OR environment and equipment function properly and support the surgeon's needs.
