Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Materials Management specialist to support operating room supply, implants and equipment in the Burnet Campus. You will prioritize case readiness and collaborate with perioperative teams to ensure smooth patient care.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory levels, replenishing stock via automated systems, coordinating deliveries, and tracking returns. You will work with surgeons, nurses, vendors and the supply chain team to minimize delays and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with surgical supply inventory and perioperative environments is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons, nurses and vendors to maintain stock and support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Review daily OR schedules to prioritize supply, equipment and instrument needs.
• Maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies, implants, instruments, and equipment.
• Replenish supplies using inventory systems, handheld devices and established par levels.
• Process supply requests and coordinate replacement of critical items to prevent delays.
• Collaborate with perioperative staff and supply chain teams to support safe, efficient patient care.
