Baylor Scott & White Temple in Temple, TX seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our 636-bed teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center team. This full-time, evenings position supports a variety of surgical specialties using open, laparoscopic, robotic procedures, and multiple robotic platforms.

You will work within 33 ORs and 4 DaVinci robots, delivering high-quality patient care. The OR RN will coordinate care, assess patients, and implement individualized plans while collaborating

Formación

• RN license in good standing (state of practice).
• Minimum 1 year operating room RN experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room per BSWH model and nursing process.
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans while evaluating responses.
• Delegate interventions to appropriate staff based on competencies and patient needs.
• Promote patient safety and timely care during surgical procedures and transitions.
• Communicate patient changes clearly to the nursing team and surgeons/providers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and ethical standards in all actions.
