Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health’s Operating Room (OR) RN role requires a current RN license and a BSN, with at least 1 year of OR experience. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate care within a high‑performing surgical team.

The position supports a Monday–Friday shift 6:30am–3:00pm, with a 30-minute call requirement. Benefits include immediate eligibility for health plans, a 401(k) with 5% match, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN required.
• 1 year OR RN experience recommended.
• RN license and BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe passage.
• Delegate interventions based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act and patient condition.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote quality outcomes.
