Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, seeks an OR Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. On-call requirement is 30 minutes arrival time, with 6:30am - 3:00pm hours and a 30-minute lunch.

The department focuses on surgical care within a supportive team environment. The RN is responsible for coordinating patient care using the BSWH nursing model, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring safe patient transitions.

Qualifications

• TX RN license required.
• At least 1 year of OR nursing experience required.
• Da Vinci robotic system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
• Ensure safe passage for patients and coordinate care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure timely follow-up.
• Apply clinical judgment and participate in quality improvement.
