Job summary

Mercy is recruiting a registered nurse to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care in a collaborative hospital setting. You will be accountable for nursing duties, maintain patient rights, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure quality outcomes.

Requires graduation from an accredited RN program and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license. A broad set of certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NRP, OCN, C-EFM, etc.) is expected or must be

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Must maintain an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
