Job summary

Mercy seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process and uphold Mercy Service Standards. You will coordinate care with multiple departments while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.

You will evaluate care effectiveness and maintain accountability for care delivered by direct caregivers, ensuring alignment with Mercy's mission. An RN license in the hiring state is required, with BLS and unit-specific certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by others.
