Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship seeks a registered nurse with OR experience to provide patient care using the nursing process, while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

You will collaborate with various departments to coordinate care and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license is required; multiple certifications may be required depending on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Required certifications listed may be required based on unit hiring needs; successful completion within specified timeframes may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Education

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
