Job summary

Incredible Health in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety in the OR.

Candidates with ADN or higher, active RN license, and 1+ years OR experience are encouraged; ACLS/PALS preferred. The role offers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time opportunities and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license required.
• 1+ years OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques required.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative patient care and perform nursing/technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.
