Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking an OR Support Technician to assist daily clinical operations and support the surgical team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring supplies are ready for procedures.

The position supports a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday with 5 eight-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility for additional hours to cover late OR cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating rooms for surgery by cleaning and sterilizing equipment and surfaces.
• Assists surgical team with use of instruments and supplies.
• Maintains inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Assists clinical staff with transferring and positioning patients as needed.
