Job summary

Scripps Mercy Chula Vista is seeking an RN OR Supervisor for a full-time day shift at Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. The role supports 4 OR suites and about 30 staff, with a 30% clinical and 70% administrative focus, including staffing, rounds, and bed management.

The position offers a New Hire Bonus up to $8.5K and participation in the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP) for supervisors. Hours are 10am–6pm with rotating weekend calls.

Qualifications

• Two years applicable OR clinical experience, one of which in a leadership role.
• Excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
• Graduate of an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 4 OR suites (Preop/PACU and Main OR) and ~30 staff.
• Balance 30% clinical and 70% administrative duties.
• Manage daily staffing plans and attend meetings.
• Ensure bed placement, transfers, and room cleaning align with care processes.
• Lead hand-offs and ensure patient safety and standards of care.
