Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Indio, CA, is seeking an OR Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to perform RN Ill duties in the surgical setting. The role provides unit leadership, assists with staff hiring/training, and ensures staffing meets patient needs and budget goals.

The PCC supervises staff, maintains equipment readiness, and mentors other employees while coordinating between patients, staff and physicians. California RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• California RN License.
• Mastery of nursing skills and knowledge for RN II/Ill in Surgical Services.
• Experience or demonstrated leadership/management skills.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily unit operations and assist with hiring and training staff.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance and maintain staffing levels to meet patient needs and budget goals.
• Ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available and support performance improvement projects.
• Serve as liaison between patients, staff and physicians.
