Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Clovis, NM is seeking an OR Circulator RN to provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care. You will coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, advocating for patient safety and coordinating communication among the surgical team.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and NM/Compact state licensure, with BLS at hire and ACLS/PALS recommended.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or higher.
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• 1 year OR/Circulator experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and advocate for the surgical patient; perform preoperative and intraoperative assessments, verify consents, confirm site and procedure.
• Manage the surgical environment to ensure readiness, sterility, and supplies.
• Facilitate communication among surgeons, anesthesia, scrub staff, and team members with clear documentation.
• Ensure perioperative safety protocols, administer medications per orders, and maintain intraoperative records.
• Lead and support perioperative care delivery; supervise staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
