Michigan Orthopaedic Surgeons in Southfield, MI seeks an Operating Room Assistant to join the surgical team. The ORA, under RN supervision, supports room turnover, inventory, equipment setup, and smooth patient flow in the OR.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sterilizing equipment, stocking supplies, aseptic technique, and maintaining patient confidentiality. A high school diploma is required; OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Operating Room experience with sterile technique preferred.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate room turnover and cleaning of the OR.
• Assist with equipment setup and handling.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Ensure aseptic technique and proper PPE.
• Transport supplies and assist in patient care flow.
• Communicate with team and help maintain confidentiality.
