You will join Harvard Medical School faculty, with an academic appointment commensurate with experience. You will mentor residents and medical students, participate in clinical and outcomes research, and contribute to multidisciplinary tumor

Job Title

Surgical Oncologist, Sarcoma Department of Surgery — Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in partnership with Dana‑Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).

Overview

We seek an experienced, fellowship‑trained, board‑certified or eligible surgical oncologist with outstanding technical skills and demonstrated experience in the surgical management of sarcoma subtypes, including soft‑tissue sarcomas of the extremity, trunk, and retroperitoneum. The role offers access to extensive clinical and research resources at BIDMC and DFCI, with opportunities for academic and programmatic growth.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $328,800 — $670,900, based on academic appointment, experience, specialty training, and productivity expectations. Eligible for performance‑based incentives, including bonuses for productivity and quality.
