Job summary

HMFP at BIDMC, Inc. in Boston seeks an experienced, fellowship-trained surgical oncologist to lead sarcoma care across extremity, trunk, and retroperitoneal subtypes. Board-certified or eligible, you will provide complex resections and collaborate with DFCI.

You will join Harvard Medical School faculty, with an academic appointment commensurate with experience. You will mentor residents and medical students, participate in clinical and outcomes research, and contribute to multidisciplinary tumor

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained surgical oncologist, board-certified or eligible.
• Demonstrated experience managing a full range of sarcoma subtypes.
• Strong technical surgical skills.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Experience preferred; highly promising new fellowship graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for patients with sarcoma, including complex resections.
• Teach and supervise surgical residents and medical students.
• Conduct clinical or outcomes research relevant to sarcoma care.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team—medical oncology, radiation oncology, orthopedic oncology, plastic surgery, radiology, and pathology.
• Serve as faculty at Harvard Medical School, with academic appointment commensurate with experience.
