AdventHealth in Florida seeks an experienced Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to lead onboarding and competency initiatives for nursing staff. You will design education plans, coach new graduates and clinicians, and ensure regulatory standards are embedded in daily practice.

You will promote certification, support student placements, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster a culture of continuous learning within our faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Self-directed, initiative-driven with seven NPD roles in practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding orientation and competency validation for nursing staff.
• Develop/coordinate education plans for new graduates and experienced nurses.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice, regulatory standards and education quality improvement.
