AdventHealth in Maitland, FL is hiring for a Nursing Professional Development Practitioner. The role supports clinical inquiry, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives within a nursing department.

You will plan orientation, coordinate training for new graduates and staff, and tailor education to diverse learners while aligning with ANPD standards. Requires RN licensure in Florida and 2+ years hospital nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible in Florida
• Knowledge of ANA/ANPD standards is preferred
• Experience in nursing education or professional development is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry and SME for projects
• Foster a spirit of inquiry and support evidence-based practice
• Collaborate to identify problems and implement planned changes
• Plan and coordinate orientation for new nurses using ANPD standards
• Adapt teaching methods to learner needs and language preferences
• Coordinate training for new graduates, experienced nurses and staff
