Job summary

USPI Fish Pond Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Full Time Materials Manager to manage inventory, orders, and stocking for the surgical facility. The role supports the surgical team and ensures supplies align with patient care standards.

The position emphasizes weekday-only work with occasional early mornings or late evenings, based on the surgical schedule. Strong organizational skills and experience in medical materials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical or hospital materials management experience preferred.
• Strong customer service background.
• Solid math and counting skills required.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm preferred.
• Computer experience with MS Office suite.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Orders and maintains all medical inventory.
• Performs quarterly inventory accounting.
• Receives, checks, and delivers supplies; prepares paperwork.
• Adheres to center policies and maintains aseptic techniques.
• Supports perioperative nursing care and team communication.
• Maintains safe handling of supplies and equipment.
