Southern California Hospitals is seeking a Supervisor for Surgical Procedure Materials to lead Cath Lab supply chain operations. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and directing day-to-day materials management within the hospital.

Responsibilities include inventory control, vendor management, and collaboration with physicians to align product performance with patient-care needs. Strong English communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in purchasing and managing surgical supplies and inventory.
• Advanced knowledge of all surgical specialties.
• Working knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Computer literacy and proficiency including Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet timelines.
• Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the timing and quantities of goods ordered and stocked.
• Develops, improves, and manages logistics and inventory control; including but not limited to acquiring, storing, handling, purchase order receiving, inventorying, restocking, and if applicable, recalls and substitution of patient care items.
• Maintains Implant Log for the assigned hospital(s) and surgical departments.
• Maintains an accurate inventory count by issuing, inventory transfers, and making decisions on when to replenish supplies.
• Collaborates with Purchasing and Finance on billing and cost control.
• Collaborate with Cath Lab Management team and Physicians to understand needs, preferences, and product performance.
• Establishes, maintains, and manages surgical product costs with vendors. Manages vendor relationships.
• Provides reports from the inventory control system for Cath Lab and Perpetual Inventories.
