Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI seeks a Clinical Material Specialist to ensure operating rooms have the equipment, implants, and inventory needed to care for patients. You will coordinate with surgeons, vendors, value analysis, supply chain, sterile processing, tissue banks, surgical services to deliver items safely and cost-efficiently.

You will post cases, review charges, reorder implants, manage tissue and EMR inventory systems (EPIC, OneReport, Tecsys, Lawson), and serve as primary contact

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree or post-secondary education preferred.
• Three to five years of experience as a LPN, Surgical Technologist, or in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operating rooms have equipment, implants and inventory to support patient care.
• Coordinate activities between surgeons, vendors, value analysis, supply chain, sterile processing, tissue banks and surgical services.
• Post cases and review charges with clinical knowledge of surgical cases.
• Reorder implants or grafts and manage tissue management compliance with Joint Commission/FDA requirements.
• Monitor OR equipment and manage supplier relations with the OR; navigate surgeon requests for equipment and trials.
• Manage equipment repairs and coordinate rentals; act as primary contact for the electronic inventory system (PPI products).
• Utilize EMR and inventory systems (EPIC, OneReport, Tecsys, Lawson).
