Job summary

Pratt Regional Medical Center Corporation seeks a Sterile Processing/Surgical Support Technician to maintain inventory of implants and ensure accuracy of invoices and patient charges. You will collaborate with vendors, Materials Management, and Accounts Payable, while obtaining instrument quotes as needed and upholding standards of performance.

The role requires 2–5 years in sterile processing or surgery, high school diploma, strong customer relations, and solid computer skills including

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• 2–5 years’ experience in Sterile Processing or Surgery.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Must be able to work at a moderately fast pace.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office and Evident/Trubridge EMR.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of all surgical implants.
• Review and verify surgical invoices.
• Review patient charges.
• Work closely with vendors, Materials Management and Accounts Payable.
• Obtain instrument quotes when needed.
• Adhere to Simply the Best Standards of Performance.
