Qualifications

• Associate degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Washington State Veterinary Technician license in good standing; VTNE completion.
• Strong organizational, time management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent client communication and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient medical care and exceptional service to clients while maintaining maximum productivity.
• Obtain patient medical history from clients and veterinarians as needed.
• Perform initial evaluation, collect information, observe and record vital statistics.
• Assist Veterinarian throughout examination, diagnosis, procedures and treatment.
• Restrain pets during exams as needed.
• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia for surgical procedures; monitor anesthesia.
