Qualifications

• AVMA-accredited associate degree in veterinary technology.
• WA state Veterinary Technician License in good standing.
• Successful VTNE completion.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, efficient, quality medical care and client service.
• Obtain patient history and assist veterinarians during exams and procedures.
• Prepare patients and equipment for surgery and assist during surgery.
• Perform X-rays and communicate results to veterinarians.
• Administer injections and medications under supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
• Educate clients on pet health needs and preventative care.
