Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician license required.
• 3 years of veterinary medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care: restraint, catheter placement, postoperative monitoring, wound care.
• Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, including anesthesia induction and monitoring.
• Monitor vital signs and patient safety throughout all surgical procedures.
• Perform diagnostic and laboratory procedures: blood collection, urinalysis, cytology, in-house testing.
• Prepare and maintain surgical suites, equipment, and instruments.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the practice management software.
• Educate clients on postoperative care, medications, and follow-up instructions.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.
