Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician title required.

• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, drug calculation, phlebotomy, and IV catheter placement.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in emergencies and high-stress situations.
• Strong written/verbal communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Induce, maintain, and monitor anesthesia; adjust depth as needed.
• Accurately calculate, prepare, and administer anesthetic agents and analgesics.
• Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, take radiographs, and assist with diagnostics.
• Manage post-operative recovery and pain management protocols.
• Discharge patients with clear client instructions and support team training.
