Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is seeking a Laser Technician I for our Baltimore district site. This on-site role supports surgical teams by preparing, sterilizing, and handing laser equipment before, during, and after procedures.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer candidates with medical/EMT or surgical technologist experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all equipment by communicating defects or maintenance needs to key stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Transports equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.
