Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is seeking a Laser Technician I to support operating room procedures by testing, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical equipment.

You will be present in the OR as required by the physician, ensure equipment readiness, and coordinate the transport of devices to the correct locations for procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift substantial weights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military preferred.
• Must hold a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must have a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and bend/reach repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures.
• Present in the operating room during procedures as needed by physicians.
• Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Communicate defects or required maintenance to stakeholders to ensure operational excellence of vehicles and equipment.
• Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place for procedures.
