Job summary

Agiliti is a nationwide medical equipment management company with 90+ local service centers. The Laser Technician I role is based in the Baltimore area (Hanover, MD) and focuses on sterilizing, prepping, and maintaining surgical equipment for operating room procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Able to stand and/or sit for long periods and perform bending/reaching repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement varies by physician needs.
• Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by reporting defects or needed maintenance to stakeholders.
• Transports equipment to ensure availability for procedures.
